For anyone who opened an audio editor and had no idea what to do next. Built so that someone who has never edited audio can get all the way to the end. No jargon. Nothing to set up. PodDuo turns a conversation you recorded on Voice Memos into audio you can publish. Even out the voices. Cut what you don't need. Add a sound before and after, and export. Three steps. That's all there is. ■ If any of this sounds familiar - You listened back to a two-person recording and the voices were at completely different levels - The same adjustments take time on every episode, and that is the part you put off - You have recordings sitting there that you never did anything with ■ Import Share a recording from Voice Memos to PodDuo, or use "Choose a file" in the app. Video files work too — only the audio is taken. The voices are balanced as it loads. There is nothing to set. When it finishes, you can listen to the before and the after, side by side. You also get a short note about the recording itself: "The quieter voice was raised as far as it could go. Next time, place the mic a little closer for a better result." Something to keep in mind the next time you record. ■ Cut Drag a finger across the audio and you hear that spot. Listening as you go, tap "Start here" where the cut begins, "End here" where it ends, then "Cut". Tapped the wrong place? "Undo" puts it back. Every cut is listed, and each one can be restored later, one at a time. "Trim silence" shortens the longer pauses all at once. The natural pauses in a conversation are kept, so it never sounds clipped. Places where background sound comes through — a busy café, other people talking, an air conditioner — are not counted as silence. Anything left over, you can cut by hand. ■ Finish Put a sound of your own at the start and at the end. The blend with the conversation is a slider, and it plays as soon as you let go. The sounds and the blend are still there next time. Every episode comes out the same. Play it through, then export. Exports are m4a. They work as-is with Apple Podcasts, Spotify for Creators, stand.fm and other major platforms. ■ Your original file never changes PodDuo does not rewrite the file you loaded. Your edits are kept separately and applied when you export. Load the same recording again and you are back at the beginning. ■ Pricing Your first export is free. Make one full episode and see how it sounds. After that, one purchase gives you unlimited exports. No subscription, no monthly fee. ■ Privacy Your audio stays on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to our servers. Analysis, editing and export all happen on the device. No ads. No account to create. ■ Supported formats Audio files (m4a, mp3, wav and others) and video files.
