PixelHero is a pixel-art tower defense where the rhythm of your taps decides whether the bastion holds. HOW IT WORKS: • Place pixel towers on the frontier path before each wave spawns • Towers fire automatically when invaders enter range • Tap the beat markers to time a perfect shot — perfect timing deals double damage • Wrong placement or mistimed shots and the invaders reach your bastion • Survive all waves of a stage to unlock the next chapter FOUR TOWER CLASSES — EACH WITH A DISTINCT WEAPON: • Archer Tower — A wooden archer with a banner flag. Fast single arrows. • Cannon Tower — A stone cannon on a stepped platform. Heavy splash damage. • Frost Tower — A crystal spire that slows enemies in range. • Poison Tower — A cauldron that drops poison clouds on the path. 60 HAND-TUNED STAGES ACROSS 3 FRONTIER WORLDS: • Willowmarch — Gentle introductions, single-path maps (stages 1–20) • Ashenvale — Branching paths, mixed enemy waves (stages 21–40) • Ironhold — The final bastion, multi-path onslaught (stages 41–60) BEAT LAYER: • Each tower has a beat marker that pulses on a slow frontier march tempo • Tapping the marker during the perfect window doubles damage for the next shot • Building beats higher as waves get longer — the dusk march never stops ENEMY MIX: • Grunts — Walkers, no resistance • Vanguard — Faster, more HP • Brute — Slow but heavy armor, requires cannon splash • Wraith — Phases out of arrow fire, only frost or poison stops it FEATURES: • Core gameplay fully offline — internet only for optional ads • Hand-painted pixel-art medieval visual style — 128×128 tower sprites, dusk flag colors • 60 hand-tuned stages with branching path templates • 20 achievements across 5 categories • Star economy — earn up to 3 stars per stage, spend at the Bastion Armory • Rewarded video ads (optional, user-initiated) • Original pixel-march battle soundtrack (AI-composed, 90-second seamless loops) Built with Flutter.
