Pinguin is a travel journal you can use with no signal. Drop a pin on a place — a photo, a note, where it was. String pins together into a pintrip: a trip laid out day by day, with how you travelled between stops. Group the ones that belong together into a collection. Everything works offline. The app reads from the copy on your phone, not from the network, so a subway, a plane or a dead zone changes nothing. When you reconnect, it syncs quietly in the background. You don't need an account to start. Open the app and it works. Whatever you make as a guest is kept and moved to your account the moment you sign in — nothing is discarded, and nothing asks you to choose. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Save places as pins, with photos, notes and a location • Build trips from your pins, grouped by day, with transport between stops • Record a trip while you move and let stops be captured for you • Group pins and trips into collections • Explore a map of public places by category • Follow people, trips and collections • Use #hashtags and @mentions in your notes PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Nothing you save is public until you choose to publish it. Anything you make before signing in is always private. When you publish a trip whose stops are still private, Pinguin asks first rather than deciding for you. SAFETY You can report content or people from the menu on any post, and block anyone — their pins, trips and collections stop appearing anywhere in the app for you, notifications included.
