It is not a medical device: it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and never replaces the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. No ads, no account, no credit card required. WHAT PILOU DOES FOR YOU • Prescription reading: Your prescription, as a photo: names, dosages, durations, and times of administration are recognized and then submitted for your approval. • Reliable reminders: A reminder at the time of each dose, never limited, even in the free plan. • Guided refills: Photograph the new prescription: Pilou calculates the refill date to ensure seamless continuity without interruption or duplicates. • "As needed" medications: For a pain reliever, Pilou remembers the time of your last dose: you always know where you stand. • End of treatment and stock levels: An alert before the end of a treatment and tracking of remaining quantities, to anticipate refills (Pilou+). Medications for travel: Pilou calculates the exact quantities to pack for the duration of your trip (Pilou+). • Dosage log in PDF format: A clear document of your adherence, to give to your doctor or pharmacist (Pilou+). YOUR HEALTH DATA REMAINS ON YOUR PHONE Your medications, dosages, and administration history are stored solely on your phone. Pilou does not create any accounts and does not store any health data on its servers. No registration, no password. Once your medications are saved, Pilou works offline for reminders and your pill organizer. Data exchanges occur with our servers, hosted in the European Union: reading a prescription, the photo of which is transmitted for the duration of the analysis—performed by a Google service in the Paris region—and is not stored on any of our servers; identifying the active ingredient of a medication, which queries our copy of the public drug database; and, only once during the installation's lifetime, an audience measurement without identification of your first steps, which you can disable in the settings. We do not save the photo or these searches. Subscription management is handled by Google Play and our service provider, RevenueCat, located in the United States, which is contacted as soon as the application is launched.
