Pill Reminder rings a real alarm at the time you set, shows the name of the medicine in large, easy to read letters, and waits until you confirm. One tap and the dose is marked as taken. WHY PEOPLE USE IT • The medication reminder is loud. Choose a notification sound, the alarm sound, the ringtone, or silent with vibration only. • Everything is big. Large buttons, high contrast, and the Atkinson Hyperlegible font, designed for low vision. • A home screen widget shows the next dose and has a "Taken" button, so you can confirm a pill without opening the app. • The pill tracker keeps a calendar of what was taken and what was missed. • Supply counter. Enter how many tablets are in the box and the app tells you when you will run out. • Scan the box. Point the camera at the package and the medicine name fills in by itself. • Snooze and a pre reminder a few minutes before the dose, so you can get a glass of water first. FOR FAMILIES If you look after a parent or grandparent, set the medicine alarm up once and send them the printable schedule.
