BUILD LITERACY THROUGH MULTIMEDIA STORIES Pictello combines images, videos, text, and audio to support literacy development. Students can create and read multimedia stories using text-to-speech, recorded voices, and a simple page-by-page interface. By pairing written and spoken language with meaningful visuals, Pictello can help students build vocabulary and comprehension. Educators can also create classroom books and digital bookshelves to support reading activities. MAKE LEARNING PERSONAL AND MEANINGFUL Pictello allows educators and students to create stories using their own images, videos, text, and recorded audio. Educators can adapt stories for different ages, abilities, and learning goals. They can document classroom activities, capture personal experiences and milestones, and turn learning into stories relevant to each student. Stories can build on students' interests and experiences to increase engagement and participation. SUPPORT STUDENT EXPRESSION AND ORAL LANGUAGE Pictello’s simple interface gives students a way to create and tell their stories. Students can use Pictello for oral presentations, personal narratives, and communication books. This gives students different ways to express and share their ideas. Text-to-speech, using a range of Acapela and system voices, provides additional support for reading text aloud. Finished work can be shared as a Pictello story or a PDF, making it easy to display student work. BUILD CONFIDENCE THROUGH VISUAL STORIES Educators can use Pictello to create stories that teach academic concepts, social skills, and routines. Complex ideas or routines can be broken down into clear steps, making them easier to understand and follow. Students can revisit stories for review and repeated practice, helping them become more familiar with concepts and routines and build confidence in applying what they have learned.
