Store description excerpt
PhysKeys is a keyboard that helps you input physics formulas! Easily type specialized formulas when chatting on social media or searching in your browser. When you want to ask a friend a question in chat, or when you want to search for how to do an integration... If you're studying or researching physics, you've probably found yourself in these situations frequently. However, physics often uses Greek letters, differential and integral calculus symbols, and other symbols that can be difficult to input on a standard keyboard. As a current university physics student, I developed "PhysKeys," a keyboard specifically designed for physics formulas. [Key Features] ● Dedicated layouts for different fields The characters commonly used in fields such as quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity vary greatly. PhysKeys offers keyboards for "Basic Formulas," "abc," and "Greek Letters," as well as a "Quantum Mechanics" keyboard featuring bracket symbols and characters like ψ and ℏ, and a "Theory of Relativity" keyboard featuring characters like μ, ν, and Γ. Easily switch to the keyboard that's best for you. ● Enter similar characters and symbols with flick input or long press Flicking up on the number keys lets you easily enter superscripts like "²," and flicking down lets you easily enter subscripts. For English and Greek alphabet buttons, flick up on the lowercase (capital) letter button to enter uppercase (lowercase) letters. In addition, holding "∫" suggests "∬," while holding "∂" suggests "∂/∂" and "∂/∂t," making it easy to enter complex symbols and frequently used sets. ● Add as many original layouts as you like While several default keyboards are available, you'd be more efficient if you could quickly create a keyboard tailored to the problem you want to ask or your field of expertise. With PhysKeys, you can create your own original keyboard layouts from the screen that appears: go to the top screen, click the "Edit Keyboard" button, and then click the "+" button in the bottom right. You can add as many original layouts as you like. Efficiency will increase dramatically if you select only the symbols you need at any given time from the many available in the symbol palette. If you notice any problems, keys you want or don't want, or features you'd like, please contact us at the email address below. If you like it, we'd be happy if you would share it with your physics friends! Charu Lab Email: charulab.dev@gmail.com
