Store description excerpt
Keep photos and videos you would rather not have seen in a locked album. When you switch iPhones they move to the new one, still hidden (this part is paid). It opens with a 6-digit PIN you choose, separate from your iPhone passcode. What you put in is encrypted and kept on your iPhone. We run no server that holds your photos or your key. If you forget the PIN, nobody can open what is inside — we do not hold the key, so we cannot look it up. Write it down before you start. ■ Getting started Choose a 6-digit PIN, pick photos and videos from the Photos app, then decide whether to delete the originals. We do not ask for access to your whole photo library. Only what you pick comes in. The only time we ask for permission is when you choose to delete the originals. ■ How this differs from "Hidden" iPhone can mark photos as Hidden, but what opens that is your iPhone passcode or Face ID — so anyone who knows it can open it. This app adds a separate 6-digit PIN. There is an exception while "Open with Face ID / Touch ID" is on; see "Before you start". ■ Free - Add photos and videos (no limit; only your iPhone's free space) - Make albums - Play videos as they are - Save them back to your iPhone - Delete (deleted items stay 30 days in Recently Deleted) All of the above is free. We show no ads. We include nothing that collects how you use the app (no analytics). ■ With a plan Only two things are added: keeping a still-encrypted backup in your own iCloud, and bringing it back on a new iPhone. When you switch iPhones, install this app on the new one, sign in with the same Apple Account and enter the same PIN. Without the PIN, a backup cannot be restored. Backups use your own iCloud storage. If it is not enough, you will need a separate arrangement with Apple (such as iCloud+). That is not part of our price. Up to about 65,000 items can be kept, within your free space. After a plan ends, what you already put in stays viewable for free, and you can still save it back to your iPhone. Payment is needed again only to back up something new, or to restore onto another iPhone. ■ How it works - Encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256-GCM. - The key is made from the PIN you chose (PBKDF2 and HKDF), on your iPhone. - We do not hold the key, and cannot open the backup in your own iCloud. - The only places anything is kept are your iPhone and your own iCloud. ■ About this app Made in Japan. We answer questions in Japanese and English. ■ Before you start - If you forget the PIN, nobody can open what is inside. We cannot open it or look it up. - "Open with Face ID / Touch ID" works only while it is on. Someone who knows your iPhone passcode could add their own face or fingerprint afterwards and open it. You can turn it off in settings. - We cannot stop screenshots. While the screen is being recorded we stop showing the contents, but we cannot prevent the capture itself. - There is no feature that disguises the icon as another app, shows different contents fo
