On your Windows PC, open that address and download the free Phone As WebCam companion app. 4. Install the companion app. It guides you through the required virtual camera and virtual microphone driver activation. 5. Approve the Windows admin/UAC prompts when asked. This authorization is needed only once for the webcam and microphone drivers. After the first setup, daily use is simple: open the phone app, open the PC companion, and connect by Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth. On the same Wi-Fi network, the PC companion auto-detects your phone, so normal webcam use does not require typing an IP again. HOW TO USE 1. Open Phone As WebCam on your phone and press Start.
