The PFT Tool evaluates the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – the five-part sports test that was used by the German Armed Forces until the end of 2009 and is still a popular standard for training, clubs, and sports groups. THE FIVE TEST TASKS • Shuttle Run 4×9 m – Action Speed (time to 0.1 s) • Sit-ups in 40 seconds – Core Strength Endurance • Standing Long Jump – Leg Power (in cm) • Push-ups in 40 seconds – Arm Strength Endurance • 12-Minute Run – Endurance, either on the track (meters) or indoor track (laps) ACTUAL SCORE TABLE Each exercise is scored from 0 to 6 points according to the official scoring tables of the German Armed Forces Sports School – separately for men and women and four age groups (up to 24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39). The test is passed with a score of 15 out of 30 points, provided that no exercise scores below 2 points. No account, no server, no tracking by the provider – the app works completely offline. PREMIUM (ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION) The free version contains advertising and limits examiner mode to three participants. The one-time Premium purchase removes the advertising, lifts the limit, and unlocks export and printing. NOTE: Unofficial app, not offered by the German Armed Forces. The PFT was replaced by the Basic Fitness Test there on January 1, 2010; "Physical Fitness Test" is used only descriptively.
