Peg Draws is a fishing match management app built for The Alford Danglers club. FEATURES: • Fair randomised peg draw with animated slot-machine reveal • Auto-draw all pegs at once or one at a time • WhatsApp-ready draw sheet to share with the group • Live sessions — all members join on their own phone in real time • Catch recording with photos and weights (lbs + oz) • Live leaderboard sorted by weight with medal rankings • Export results as PDF • Save and view past sessions HOW IT WORKS: The host sets up a draw, enters the venue and angler names, and starts a live session. Members join using a 6-character code. Everyone can record their catch in real time and watch the leaderboard update live. 2. DEVICES TESTED: iPhone 17 Pro Max simulator — iOS 26 iPhone (physical device) — iOS 26 3. APP DESCRIPTION: Peg Draws is a fishing match management app built exclusively for The Alford Danglers, a private coarse fishing club in the UK. It solves the problem of running fair, unbiased peg draws at the lakeside without pen and paper. It also allows all club members to log catches in real time and see a live leaderboard during the match. 4. SETUP INSTRUCTIONS: No account or login is required. To test: Host flow: 1. Open the app 2. Enter a venue name (e.g. "Farlows Lake"), your name, and number of pegs (e.g. 24) 3. Tap "Create Session" — a 6-character code is generated 4. Other anglers open the app, enter the code and their name, tap "Join Draw" 5. Once anglers have joined, host taps "Start Draw" 6. Pegs are assigned one at a time with an animated draw 7. During the match, any member taps "Add Catch" on the Catch tab to log weight and photo 8. Leaderboard tab shows live rankings by weight To test solo: open the app on two devices — one as host, one joining with the session code. 5. EXTERNAL SERVICES: - Google Firebase Firestore — stores live session data, angler lists, catch weights and saved results - Google Firebase Storage — stores catch photos uploaded during a match 6. REGIONAL DIFFERENCES: The app functions consistently across all regions. There are no regional differences in features or content. 7. REGULATED INDUSTRY: This app does not operate in a regulated industry and does not include any third-party protected material. It is a private utility app for an informal fishing club.
