Ministry of Education Malaysia via the National Book Council of Malaysia (NBCM) organises the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) in collaboration with six Malaysian book industry associations. KLIBF is an annual major event in the global publishing calendar. Since a humble beginning in 1981, KLIBF has recorded more than 2 million visitors from year 2013 to date. In consequence, this is resulted from the strategic and perfect venue for ‘bibliophile’ or book-lovers to get various books both old and new publications. Besides, various activities are being carried out by publishers across the regions, which accelerate the celebration and excitement of KLIBF. The launch of books, seminars, conventions and so forth are among the activities conducted to cater the needs of book-lovers community from all walks of life.
