Store description excerpt
If you are an employee in New Zealand, you will get your wage by deducting ACC, PAYE, KiwiSaver, Education Loan etc. PAYE tax calculator is a great tool to calculate your upcoming payment by just providing your hourly rate and total hours worked. Get an estimated net pay from any gross salary or hourly rate. Works with all standard pay frequencies — hourly, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and annual. Every deduction is broken down so you can see an approximate picture of where your money goes. The new KiwiSaver default rate of 3.5% is included for the 2026/27 tax year, along with the temporary 3% opt-down option. Pick from all IRD-approved contribution rates: 3%, 3.5%, 4%, 6%, 8%, or 10%. The app also estimates your employer's matching contribution based on the current publicly available rules. DISCLAIMER: This app is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Inland Revenue (IRD), the New Zealand Government, or any government agency. It is an independent, third-party tool. All calculations are estimates based on publicly available tax rates and thresholds published by IRD at ird.govt.nz. Individual circumstances may vary. For official tax advice, contact Inland Revenue directly. DATA SOURCE: All tax brackets, ACC earners' levy rates, KiwiSaver contribution rules, student loan repayment thresholds, and IETC details used in this app are sourced from publicly available information published by Inland Revenue New Zealand (ird.govt.nz).
