Paxio is a simple, focused parental control app for Android that helps you set screen time limits and boundaries for your kids — without spying on them. No location tracking, no reading their messages: just the controls that change daily habits, enforced automatically. Start free with one child profile. Some features are part of Paxio Pro — compare plans at www.paxio.in/pricing.html SCREEN TIME Set a daily limit per child in 15-minute steps and it enforces itself — no reminders, no manual check-ins. Your child sees a live countdown ring on their own dashboard, so the end of screen time is never a surprise, and they can request more time right from the lock screen for you to approve or deny with one tap. Phone calls always stay available. APP BLOCKING Choose exactly which apps your child can and can't use. Blocking is enforced in real time using Android's Accessibility Service, which detects the app currently open on the device — nothing needs to be uninstalled, and a blocked app shows a clear block screen instead of silently failing. Any single app can also get a time limit of its own. CONTENT FILTERING Block sites across 15 categories — adult content, gambling, violence, social media and more — with age presets (Under 7, 8–10, Teen, Open) or category by category. Filtering runs as a local, on-device VPN: Paxio never sends your child's general browsing activity anywhere. When a site is blocked, only that domain, its category, and the time are saved to your account so you can see it in your reports. BEDTIME & INTERNET PAUSE Set a sleep and wake time once and it repeats on the days you choose; at bedtime, everything but calls goes quiet until morning. Need the internet off right now? Pause it in one tap, or for 30 minutes, an hour, or dinner — from your own phone. WHAT YOUR CHILD SEES Their own dashboard, built to inform rather than confront: time left today, a plain-language summary of what's on right now, and a streak that earns bonus screen time automatically for staying under the limit day after day. No shaming, no list of restrictions to push back against. REPORTS & WEEKLY EMAIL Daily, weekly, and monthly views with a usage trend and stat tiles — screen time, over-limit days, blocked-app attempts and more — plus a weekly recap emailed to you, so you stay in the loop without opening the app. SET UP IN MINUTES Sign up, create your parent PIN, choose whether your child has their own phone or shares yours, add a profile, and accept suggested settings based on their age. Profiles and PIN sync to your account, so a new phone doesn't mean starting over. Switching back to the parent view on a shared phone always needs your PIN. PRIVACY FIRST General screen time and browsing activity stay on the device and are never transmitted.
