Store description excerpt
PAUZEN creates a deliberate pause between impulse and action. Choose the apps you want to protect, define your goals, and start focus periods with rules configured by you. With PAUZEN you can: - Create daily goals based on time, pages, repetitions, or other units. - Start free focus sessions or connect a session to a goal. - Protect apps you choose with local schedules and daily limits. - Build routines for selected days and times. - Review today's progress, your week, and your calendar. - Configure focus phrases and mindful pause reminders. - Use profiles for work, study, sleep, or deep focus. - Export, restore, or delete your data from the app. - Choose English or Spanish, Luxury Gold or Technical Blue, and Inter or Montserrat. Your choices remain under your control. This version of PAUZEN works locally: it does not require an account, contains no ads, and does not send your goals, routines, or history to a PAUZEN server. USE OF THE ANDROID ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE PAUZEN uses the AccessibilityService API for a core feature chosen by the user: detecting when the visible app matches an app the user protected and showing the configured blocking intervention or focus session. The service accesses app-window change events and the package identifier of the visible app. It can also display an accessibility overlay and, only as part of a rule or action configured by the user, return to the Home screen or lock the screen during a digital-rest rule. This information is processed only on the device to provide blocking and focus features. PAUZEN does not retrieve window content; it does not read messages, passwords, or typed text; and it does not send this data to PAUZEN servers or share it with third parties. Before opening Accessibility Settings, PAUZEN displays a separate disclosure explaining this access and provides two clear choices: DO NOT ACCEPT or AGREE AND OPEN SETTINGS. Enabling the service is voluntary. If the user declines, PAUZEN does not open Settings or enable this feature, and the user can continue using features that do not depend on the service. The service can be disabled at any time in Android Settings. PAUZEN also needs Usage Access to calculate the daily limits configured by the user. Android and some device manufacturers may delay notifications or restrict background functions. PAUZEN includes guidance for reviewing notification and battery settings. Blocking presents an intervention over the selected app; it does not force-stop or uninstall other apps. PAUZEN: Pause. Choose. Focus.
