PatientsEye Mobile is the bedside companion for behavioral health, psychiatric, and residential care technicians responsible for Q15 (every-15-minute) patient observations. Built for the floor, not the front office, it puts each assigned patient one tap away and confirms — with Bluetooth proof — that you were actually there. WHY PATIENTSEYE Paper rounding sheets and untimed digital forms make it easy to chart from down the hall. PatientsEye closes that gap. A small BLE wristband worn by the patient must be within range of your phone before the app will let you submit an entry. Your charting becomes verifiable, your facility's compliance posture improves, and your patients get the eyes-on care their observation level requires. FOR TECHNICIANS • See only the patients assigned to you, with photo, room and bed, ID number, and current observation level • A live proximity dot tells you at a glance which patients are in range right now • Tap a patient to open a full chart: precautions, safety plans, admission info, and complete entry history • Q15 form auto-stamps date and time and captures entry type, location, mood, and notes • Submit is locked until the patient's wristband is detected within the configured distance — typically three feet • Pull to refresh, infinite scroll, and an entry history view scoped to each patient FOR FACILITIES • Every submission is tied to a verified proximity event, creating an audit trail that stands up to survey • Optional MKGW1 BLE-to-WiFi gateways extend coverage to 24/7 so anti-tamper and low-battery alerts on W7 wristbands reach the bell even when no clinician is in the room • Same backend, same alert routing whether the scan came from a phone or a gateway — no duplicate tooling • Configurable RSSI threshold, scan interval, and minimum proximity per facility SECURITY AND PRIVACY • Designed with HIPAA workflows in mind • Access and refresh tokens stored in the device keychain via iOS Secure Enclave • Optional Face ID or Touch ID sign-in for fast, secure re-entry between shifts • "Forget this device" wipes saved credentials from the profile screen • All API traffic over HTTPS; no patient data is cached in unencrypted storage WHAT'S INSIDE • Patient list with BLE status indicator • Patient detail with observation level, precautions, and safety plans • Q15 entry form with proximity-gated submission • Per-patient entry history with filters • Biometric sign-in and welcome-back splash • Built-in BLE device scanner and device-log reporting REQUIREMENTS • PatientsEye facility account (technician role) • Bluetooth and Location permissions for proximity scanning • Patient-issued BLE wristbands (W7 or compatible iBeacon devices) • Internet connectivity for sync and authentication PatientsEye is intended for use by trained staff at licensed care facilities.
