Patchy Bolus Log is a logbook for people who already do the arithmetic — carbohydrates divided by your carb ratio, glucose above target divided by your correction factor. It does those two divisions, shows you both halves of the answer, and keeps the record on your iPhone. It ships no dosing knowledge of its own. There is no drug database, no suggested starting values, and no adjustment logic. Every number in the calculation comes from the plan you worked out with your own diabetes team. WHAT IT DOES • Shows the carb dose and the correction dose separately, so you can see which half of the number came from where • Saves every entry together with the inputs and the settings in force at the time, so a row still means something months later • Exports your full history as a CSV through the iOS share sheet, in canonical units with a period decimal — it opens anywhere WHAT IT REFUSES TO DO • Below 3.9 mmol/L or 70 mg/dL it will not show a dose at all. It tells you to treat the low first, and there is no override. • Every result is capped at a maximum you set. The cap is always shown, never applied silently. • If you logged a correction inside your stacking window, it says so before you log another. • It does not estimate insulin on board, read a CGM, or drive a pump. Those are decisions this app is not qualified to make. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION • No account, no sign-in, no profile • No network requests of any kind — it works identically in airplane mode • No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no crash reporting • No Apple Health access; the app requests no permissions at all • Your log never leaves the device unless you export it yourself DETAILS THAT MATTER • Light and dark appearance, VoiceOver support, and Dynamic Type throughout • Available in English, Português (Brasil), Deutsch, Svenska and Suomi • Carbohydrate exchanges are always 15 g and shown as "exc" — never relabelled to a unit that means a different quantity • Insulin is shown as U in every language IMPORTANT Patchy Bolus Log is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
