The aim of the RENASCIMENTO APPENNINO project is to re-launch tourism in the territory of the Montana Union of the Blue Mountains, which includes 15 Municipalities of the Province of Macerata inserted in the "crater" of the earthquake, through the creation of geo-referenced multimedia platforms constantly updated with interactive, immersive and multimedia contents. Blue Steps is one of the actions of the "Renaissance Appenine Project". RINASCIMENTO APPENINO is a project carried out in partnership by Sistema3 Srl, Empix Multimedia Srl, Radio and Media Srl, Resources Cooperative Society and financed by the Marche Region, POR FESR 2014-2020 2014/2020 - 8.1. Support to the development of products and services complementary to the enhancement of identified cultural and natural attractions of the territory, also through the integration between companies of the cultural, tourist, sporting, creative and entertainment industries, and of the supply chains of traditional and typical products - CALL: ERDF 2014-2020 AXIS 3 - OS 8 - ACTION 8.1 - Support for innovation and aggregation in cultural and creative SME supply chains, manufacturing and tourism for the purpose of improving international competitiveness and employment. RENASCIMENTO APPENNINO also aims to enrich, de-seasonalise and diversify the local tourism offer by strengthening and promoting, with respect to other commercial applications, a specific segment of the tourist market, namely active tourism (cycling tourism, hiking, etc.). Precisely the latter being mainly linked to the natural heritage of the area and almost exclusively involving outdoor activities, it is a sector that has suffered less than the others from the consequences of the earthquake. While the recovery of the architectural heritage will necessarily have longer times, landscape and environmental excellences can constitute tourist attractions and travel destinations because they are available in almost all of them. Waiting for the full recovery of the artistic and architectural heritage, active tourism can allow the territory a tourist flow that can already support structures and operators still present and productive. In addition, these companies also represent a real opportunity for the development of the experiential tourism sector, which in our region is only at the beginning, but which above all abroad enjoys a continuous growth trend that uses platforms for purchases in particular online. Through the app, you can consult individual services or all-inclusive tourist packages aimed not only at sportsmen but at all those who want to discover in "slow mode" the beauty of the Sibillini Mountains, the culture of medieval villages and the traditions of the territories cross. The project will also be characterized by the added value given by experiential tourism.
