Store description excerpt
Part 107 Ready is a complete study course for the FAA Remote Pilot certificate with a small UAS rating, and it works with no network connection at all. NOT A GOVERNMENT APP. Part 107 Ready is an independent study app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any government entity. OFFICIAL SOURCES, IN FULL Every piece of government information here comes from these official sources, each also linked in the app. • 14 CFR part 107, small unmanned aircraft systems: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-F/part-107 • 14 CFR part 89, remote identification: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-F/part-89 • 14 CFR part 48, registration and marking: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-C/part-48 • FAA sample questions, Unmanned Aircraft General: https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/training_testing/testing/test_questions/uag_questions.pdf • FAA Remote Pilot Study Guide, FAA-G-8082-22: https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/regulations_policies/handbooks_manuals/aviation/remote_pilot_study_guide.pdf • FAA testing supplement, FAA-CT-8080-2H, the chart figures: https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/training_testing/testing/supplements/sport_rec_private_akts.pdf • FAA Airman Certification Standards, FAA-S-ACS-10: https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/training_testing/testing/acs/uas_acs.pdf • FAA Aviation Weather Handbook, FAA-H-8083-28B: https://www.faa.gov/regulationspolicies/handbooksmanuals/aviation/faa-h-8083-28b-aviation-weather-handbook No other source is used. 449 PRACTICE QUESTIONS Every question carries a plain language explanation and a citation to the regulation section or study guide chapter it came from, so you can check an answer instead of memorising it. 46 are the FAA's own published sample questions. The rest are original, written to the same five knowledge areas the real exam uses. BUILT TO THE REAL EXAM Mock exams draw 60 questions in the proportions the FAA actually tests: regulations 25 percent, airspace and requirements 25 percent, weather 15 percent, loading and performance 10 percent, operations 25 percent. Two hour clock, 70 percent to pass. KNOW WHEN YOU ARE READY A readiness score estimates what you would score today, weighted by exam topic rather than by whatever you happen to have studied. Per category analytics show where the gaps are, and the weak area drill goes straight at them. SECTIONAL CHART QUESTIONS Chart reading is where most candidates lose marks. Questions that need a graphic ship with the actual FAA testing supplement excerpt, zoomable, so you practise the way you will be tested. THE REGULATIONS, IN FULL The complete text of 14 CFR Part 107 and Part 89, searchable by section number or by phrase. Free, permanently. METAR AND TAF DECODER Paste a raw observation and read it in plain language, with the Part 107 consequences called out. Free, permanently. FREE, WITH NO CATCH 60 practice questions a
