PappaChiara helps those who live with a dog or cat read the information available on pet food labels and compare it with their pet's profile. SCAN AND VIEW • Scan the barcode to search for a product in the catalog. • When the product and profile contain the necessary information, view a compatibility assessment with a score, color, and reasons. • If the product is not listed, photograph the label: text recognition can pre-populate a report. The assessment becomes available only after it has been verified and added to the catalog. • Missing or uninterpretable data is indicated and may limit the assessment. A PROFILE FOR YOUR PET • Create profiles for dogs and cats with life stage, breed, and weight. • Record allergies, known conditions, and ingredients to avoid. • View weight history and note changes over time. CATALOG, FAVORITES, AND DIARY • Search for foods by brand, ingredient, barcode, or characteristics. • Save the products you want to find and compare available reviews. • Add foods to your pet's diet and note any reactions. STORES ON THE MAP • Search for published stores by name, city, zip code, or address. • Consult the map or list and open directions. • Use "Near Me" whenever you want: the location is requested at that moment, while the manual search remains available. • Save a favorite store and report missing or closed stores. The presence and updating of results depends on the available sources. HOW TO READ THE RESULTS The rating uses the information declared for the product and that saved in the pet's profile. Always check the packaging, as recipes, ingredients, and analytical values may change. The reasons displayed in the app help you understand which data was considered and which was not available.
