Choose a date, time, and place anywhere on Earth. 2. Add a title, dedication, and personal message. 3. Personalize the design with a map shape, color style, constellation guides, a grid, and other display details. 4. Review the watermarked preview in the app. 5. Save and edit as many drafts as you like in the local gallery, free of charge. 6. When one is ready, unlock a watermark-free printable PDF for that specific map through an App Store in-app purchase. — BASED ON ASTRONOMICAL CALCULATIONS — OwnStarMap uses sidereal-time and coordinate calculations with a catalog of stellar records to generate the view for the selected time and observer location. The data includes optional guide figures for the 88 named constellations. The map shows stars and constellation guides; it does not show the Moon or planets and is intended as a commemorative design rather than an observing chart. — CREATE BEFORE YOU BUY — No account is required to explore the styles, create maps, compare designs, or keep local drafts. Creating and keeping local drafts is free. A purchase is required only when you choose to unlock a printable PDF or place a separate physical print order. Each digital unlock applies to one map. — OPTIONAL PHYSICAL PRINT — Prefer a finished poster? Use the separate “Order a print” option to choose an available size and delivery address. Physical print orders use their own checkout and are separate from the digital PDF unlock. Delivery is currently available in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Monaco.
