OwnFi is a privacy-first personal finance app that runs entirely on your phone. Your statements, transactions, holdings and the advisor's answers never leave the device — no cloud processing, no analytics on your spending, no data sold or shared. No account to create, no bank to link. SEE WHERE YOU STAND • Safe to Spend — what you can spend per day for the rest of the month, with upcoming bills already reserved • Net worth — cash, holdings, property and debts in one number, in your home currency, with a history of how it has moved • Invest tab — holdings with cost and current value, an asset-class breakdown, and a target allocation you set. Prices come from public ticker quotes; only the symbol ever leaves your phone • Investment Score — a 0–100 read of your portfolio from five factors you can inspect, each showing its points and the fact behind it • Card & Debt Health — a 0–100 read from your own balances, limits and payments, worked out on your phone. It never contacts a credit bureau • Insights — trends, top merchants, category patterns and anomalies, each with a plain-English reason IMPORT FROM ANYWHERE • PDF statements — parsed on your phone, with 27 named bank and card formats across Canada, the US, India, Japan, the Nordics and Chinese payment apps, plus a generic fallback. Password-protected PDFs open on Android 15+ • CSV and OFX — auto-detected; the universal parser learns any unknown layout once you confirm it • Broker files — OFX and CSVs from Questrade, Wealthsimple, RBC and TD Direct Investing, Fidelity, Schwab and Vanguard; Zerodha and Angel One spreadsheets; CDSL and KFintech statements. OwnFi never logs in to a broker • Receipts and screenshots — on-device OCR, including Indian passbooks and UPI summaries • Bank Alert Capture — opt in to turn bank notifications into transactions, parsed on your phone • Watch a folder — point OwnFi at one folder and import whatever is new with one tap. No background scanning • Quick Add — bind Quick Tap to "OwnFi Quick Add" and log an expense in two fields PLAN AHEAD • Time Machine — project your balance months to years ahead, then stack "what if" changes on top and compare • Wealth forecast — net worth 1 to 20 years out, in three growth bands, with your debts retiring on schedule • Budgets with rollover, savings goals with the monthly pace to reach them, bills and subscriptions on one screen, and a debt tracker with amortization • Wealth alerts — a stale price, a holding growing outsized, a goal falling behind. Computed and scheduled on your phone. Off until you turn them on A PRIVATE ADVISOR • Ask about spending, budgets, net worth or the forecast. Every figure is computed by OwnFi's own code before any language model sees the question, and each answer shows the period, transaction count and categories behind it • Follow-ups keep the thread — "why?" and "and last month?" are understood • Works with a local AI model you download from Hugging Face, or without one: a deterministic advisor answer
