No subscription, no account, no ads. SCAN IT, OR DRAW IT Walk a room with a LiDAR iPhone or iPad and Overplan measures the walls, doors and windows as you go. No LiDAR, or no access to the room? Tap out the corners instead or trace over an existing plan and the walls stand up on their own . A scan is a first draft, not a verdict — which is the part most scanning apps leave you stuck with. PUT THE ROOM ON THE TABLE Tap View in AR and your room appears in the room you are standing in. It opens at real size, so the first thing you see is usually a wall in your face — pinch it down and the whole flat sits on the table in front of you, walls, doors, furniture and shading intact. Drag to slide it, twist to turn it, pinch to scale from dolls-house to full size. Or even better, send it to Vision Pro for true 3D-experience. Then send it to somebody. Export the 3D model and share the file however you like — Messages, Mail, AirDrop, a link. On any recent iPhone or iPad it opens straight from the message and stands in THEIR room. They need no app at all. Not even Overplan. Nothing to install, no account, no sign-up. That is the one to reach for when the point is showing rather than building: a client, a landlord, a partner who cannot read a floor plan. A drawing asks people to imagine the space. This one just puts them in it. THE ROOM AS SPACE, NOT AS STUFF No wood grain, no wallpaper, no photographs of somebody else's home. Overplan draws your room in one calm clay — paper cream, soft light, honest shadow — so what you look at is the shape of the space: the width of a doorway, the wall you could move, the corner that is tighter than you thought. That calm, beautiful look comes from a custom rendering engine. Background baked GPU Ray-traced Ambient Occlusion with a secondary bounces for lighting (GI), so corners deepen, furniture sits in real contact shadow instead of floating, and the whole room settles. SHAPE IT UNTIL IT'S RIGHT Move a wall and the rooms re-solve around it. Slide a door along its wall with live dimensions showing the gap at each side. Resize a window by dragging a jamb. Add interior walls, split a wall, join a corner, name the rooms and paint their floors. Everything is on a snap grid you control, in metres or feet, and every number can be typed exactly. FURNITURE THAT FITS Place from a library of real furniture at real sizes — beds, sofas, tables, baths, wardrobes — then size, turn, flip and colour each piece.
