The biggest heartbreak in photogrammetry (3D modeling): you get home, start processing on your computer, and find out the photo overlap (lap rate) was too low. The model falls apart, and you have to go all the way back to reshoot. Overlap Camera lets anyone try photogrammetry, 3D scanning, and fixed-point observation with nothing but the phone in your pocket. No special gear, no professional equipment, no complicated setup. It overlays your previous photo semi-transparently on the live capture screen and shows a real-time overlap rate (LAP%) powered by your phone's IMU sensor. Because you can see the overlap as you shoot, you keep enough overlap every time, so your models don't break and you don't have to reshoot. Just point, line up the overlay, and capture.
