Store description excerpt
OrchardEye — scan your trees, right on your iPhone, Developed by Ahana Jindal. Point your camera at an apple leaf or a piece of fruit and get two answers from one photo: • Disease — flags apple scab, black rot, cedar apple rust, or a healthy leaf, with a confidence score and what to do next. • Ripeness — estimates how ready your fruit is from its colour, plus an approximate apple count for the frame. Everything runs on device. Your photos are analysed locally and are never uploaded. No account, no clip-on sensor, no subscription. WHAT YOU GET • One-tap scan from the camera or your photo library • A plain-language verdict you can hear read aloud • Crop-health signals: lesion area, yellowing, lifecycle stage • Per-plant history and trend charts (health, lesion %, ripeness) • CSV export of every scan • Weather-aware disease-risk tips (Open-Meteo) HOW IT WORKS Photograph a leaf to screen for disease, or a piece of fruit to check ripeness and count. OrchardEye works out which you're looking at and shows the answer that applies. Scan the same block twice to build a trend over time. HONEST BY DESIGN Ripeness is a colour-based estimate, not a lab Brix reading. Disease coverage is apple (scab, black rot, cedar apple rust, healthy), and confidence is shown so you know when to retake a photo. No sign-in. No ads. Nothing leaves your phone.
