Store description excerpt
Oraluna Storybook Pro is for stories told out loud. Someone presses record and says the thing they've told at every family table — the winter you heated one room, the night the river rose, what your grandmother said about the soup — and it keeps their voice, not a transcript of it. Long stories are told in parts, the way people actually tell them, and listeners can carry one around the app while they browse. It's built to look like a printed page: newsprint, heavy ink, one red. If you'd rather type than speak, you can, and the app will read it aloud in a voice you choose. Features • Record a story in your own voice — up to three minutes per part, as many parts as the story needs, played back gapless. • Hear it back and trim the ends before you publish, so the fumbling at the start never reaches anyone. • A cover picture and an opening animation, so a story arrives like a title sequence. • A mini player that survives navigation — keep a grandmother talking while you scroll, read replies or open a shelf. • Written stories with photos, plus read-aloud in a choice of voices for anyone who'd rather listen. • Explore, ranked and filterable by topic, period and sort; reply, love, keep, and answer a story with "I Remember This Too". • A Story Coach that warms you up with three questions — entirely on your device, no service, no account, no upload. How to use it 1. Make an account, pick the kinds of story you'd like to hear, and your feed starts there. 2. Tap Tell, press record, and say it once through — stop whenever, add another part if there's more. 3. Play it back, drag the two handles to cut the ends, and name the parts if the story has chapters. 4. Add a cover, choose an opening animation, tag who's in it and when it happened, then post. 5. Tap any card to listen, scrub the waveform, jump between parts, and leave a reply the teller will actually read. 6. Nervous? Open the Story Coach on the News tab first — it asks three questions, then hands you straight to record. Benefits • Keeps the voice, not just the words — accent, pauses, the laugh in the middle of the sentence. • Makes long stories tellable: parts mean you never have to get it right in one take. • Turns listening into something you can do while you browse, so stories get finished instead of abandoned. • Gives families and friends somewhere to answer a story with their own version of it. • Lowers the bar for people who freeze at a record button, with a coach and a trim that forgive a rough start. • Nothing about the coaching leaves the device, and stories go only where you post them.
