Store description excerpt
Or It Didn't Happen is a photo app for taking pictures with your friends. Not posting at strangers. Not chasing an audience. You and the people you actually know, out with your cameras, then looking at everyone's photos — together, at the same time. There are four ways in. EVENTS A wedding, a trip, a night out. Make an event, share the link, and everyone who was there adds their photos to one shared album. No group needed, and guests don't need an account. CHALLENGES Pick a theme and a deadline — "doors near home", "something green", "the last hour of light". Everyone takes their own version, then the group reacts, comments, and floats the favourites up. PHOTO HUNTS A list of prompts and a walk. A window, a side street, someone walking, closing time. Everyone fills their own card as they go, one photo per prompt, together or on your own. FRIENDS & FOLLOWERS No group, no theme, no deadline. Just post a photo for the people who follow you. Their photos come back chronologically — no algorithm, nothing missed, no counts to perform for. ALSO IN THE APP • Group chat alongside the photos, and direct messages between members • A profile portfolio for the work you want to keep on show • Achievements for things you actually did, not for showing up daily • Explore, if you'd rather join a public group than start your own • A group can be five friends or a few thousand people. Both work. PRIVACY, PLAINLY Location and camera serial number are stripped from every photo's metadata at upload, before the file is stored. If you choose to show capture details, only the settings are kept — camera, lens, aperture, shutter, ISO. Never location, never dates. The app never asks your phone or browser for your location. There are no ad SDKs and no third-party analytics. Groups are private by default: members see each other's photos and nobody else does. Anything public is public because you chose to make it so. Bring a camera, a phone, or the point-and-shoot in the drawer. Anything that takes a picture works.
