Store description excerpt
■ Nikkei 225 option prices, the moment you change a condition A Black-Scholes calculator for Nikkei 225 index options. Change the spot, the strike, the implied volatility (IV) or the days to expiry, and the theoretical price and the Greeks at the top of the screen follow instantly. There is no "Calculate" button. Supports Nikkei 225 options and Nikkei 225 mini options (125 yen strike increments), TOPIX options and options on individual securities. ■ Who it is for - Price a Nikkei 225 option again and again, on the spot - Move implied volatility (IV) and see what the option price does - See delta, gamma, theta, vega and rho in one view - Step the strike and compare premiums - Look up the SQ date, last trading day and days to expiry for a contract month - Check that put-call parity holds ■ Features ▼ A price that is always live Call and put theoretical prices stay pinned at the top and update the moment a condition changes. You can enter a Nikkei 225 futures price as the underlying. ▼ Comparison mode Tap "Set baseline" to snapshot the current values. The difference (▲ +12.4 vs baseline) then appears under each price, so the effect of a change in IV or strike is visible at once. ▼ No keyboard needed Step the spot and strike with ± buttons in the correct tick size (hold to repeat), drag the IV slider in 0.5% steps (10-45%), or tap any number for keyboard entry. ▼ Greeks Delta, gamma, theta, vega and rho, one card each, with a one-line explanation of what each one means in practice. Delta is drawn on a centre-anchored bar showing the call/put balance. ▼ Intrinsic and time value, and a put-call parity check Splits the theoretical price into intrinsic value and time value, and verifies on screen that the call and put prices are internally consistent. ▼ Contract months, SQ dates and last trading days Pick a contract month and the SQ date and last trading day are derived for you, including the roll back over exchange holidays, with days to expiry applied automatically. The trading calendar refreshes on startup and covers Osaka Exchange holiday trading sessions. ▼ Automatic interest rate selection Picks the TIBOR tenor (1 week / 1, 3, 6, 12 months) matching the days to expiry and shows which is in use. TIBOR is a JPY interest rate, updated manually in Settings. ■ Built to be read Colour Universal Design (CUD v4): call = orange, put = sky blue, fixed regardless of theme, and information is never carried by colour alone. Monospaced figures (IBM Plex Mono, tabular) so digits line up. 11 theme colours, light and dark, all contrast-checked, and the layout holds at larger font sizes. TalkBack supported, with Greeks announced by name. ■ Before you use it - IV (implied volatility) is a value you enter. This app does not solve for IV from a market price. - It does not fetch live market prices. Every value is entered by you. - Prices are in JPY as index points, with the contract multiplier shown. - This app is a simulation tool for Nikkei 225 opti
