Store description excerpt
Most running apps sell the accelerator: faster, farther, more. ok run. gives you a brake. It is made for people beginning to run again after illness, surgery, or a long break—when you may have permission to exercise but still need time to trust your body. ■ Set today’s ceiling Choose your own duration ceiling. In Apple Watch + Apple Health mode, you can also enter the heart-rate ceiling you already know. After the run, ok run. reads heart rate and walking/running distance saved to Apple Health by the Apple Watch workout and never writes data to Apple Health. The app never calculates, suggests, or recommends raising a ceiling. Lowering it is easy; raising it is kept in Settings. ■ Know when you have done enough When notifications are allowed and you reach the duration you chose, ok run. sends one local alert. The screen also changes to say that you may stop here. It does not end the run for you or keep pushing you with repeated alerts. ■ Walking still counts A run finished as a walk is still complete. There are no streak failures, rankings, or pace pressure—only an honest record of what your body allowed today. ■ Keep familiar routes Save an actual loop from a completed run, or draw a familiar route yourself. Repeating a route you trust can be a good way to begin again. ■ Your records stay on your device There is no account, first-party server, advertising SDK, or ad tracking. Health, location, and running records stay on your iPhone. If purchases are enabled, RevenueCat processes anonymous App Store purchase history only for validation, restoration, and purchase analytics. It does not receive your health, location, or run records. ■ One purchase, no subscription You can use every feature free for 7 days from first launch. This is not a subscription trial, and no charge starts automatically. After that, full access is a one-time App Store purchase with no automatic renewal or expiration. Restore Purchases is available after reinstalling. Even without a purchase, you can continue to view, delete, and export records you already saved. Only starting a new run is locked. ■ Before you run · ok run. alerts you about the duration ceiling you set. In-workout heart-rate alerts are configured separately in Apple’s Workout app. After the run, ok run. reads heart rate and walking/running distance saved to Apple Health by the Apple Watch workout and never writes data to Apple Health. · Without an Apple Watch, the app can still record time and—when Location is allowed—distance and route. · ok run. is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions. · Always decide with your physician whether you should exercise and what level is appropriate.
