Store description excerpt

OhmsCounsel is an on-device-by-default macOS app for local contract and document review. Import PDF, DOCX, or text; verify defined terms, numbering, and explicit references with exact source spans; record explicitly saved reviewer notes beside findings; run summary, extraction, and risk-flag passes with a local Gemma 4 model on Apple MLX; inspect grounded chat with citation coverage; and export reviewed Markdown or PDF. Your documents and derived content stay on your Mac by default — no account, no telemetry, no document uploads. Optional Bring Your Own Key cloud inference is off unless you turn it on and enter your own provider API key; nothing is ever sent to Silo Systems. KEY POINTS * Deterministic Contract Integrity checks with page links when the source preserves pages. * Reviewer notes stay distinct from automated findings and never modify the imported source. * Grounded local chat flags unsupported claims and abstains when evidence is weak. * Clause playbook comparison, draft comparison, redline, and risk dashboard. WHAT IT IS NOT * OhmsCounsel is a document-analysis and organization tool, not a law firm, legal advice, proof, or a guarantee that a contract is complete or correct. Legal judgment stays with you. PRICING * One-time purchase on the Mac App Store. No subscription or in-app purchases. REQUIREMENTS * macOS 14+, Apple Silicon. One consent-gated model download on first run.
