Import a PDF and get a plain-language summary of it. That is the whole app. OffStill summarizes on your iPhone using Apple Intelligence. Your document is never uploaded, so you do not create an account, nothing sits on someone else's server, and there is nothing to pay per page. It works with the network off. Scanned documents work too. When a page has no text layer, like a photographed contract or an old bank statement, the app reads the page with on-device OCR before summarizing, so you get a summary instead of an error. Long documents work as well. The app reads the document in pieces and combines them, so a 200-page report goes through the same way a 3-page letter does. While that runs you see a progress bar and an estimate of the time left. If the summary is still longer than you want, tap Summarize Again and it gets condensed further. You can keep going, and Undo puts the previous version back. There is also a Pages view showing the text pulled out of each page and whether it came from the PDF's own text layer or from OCR.
