Store description excerpt

Curious about Homer's Odyssey? This independent Korean-language game turns Odysseus's twenty-year absence and voyage home into a 25–35 minute choice-driven puppet play. On this stage, Odysseus is a wooden puppet whose strings are pulled by Athena, goddess of wisdom, and Poseidon, god of the sea. Begin with Telemachus and the suitors in Ithaca, then cross the lands of the Cicones, Polyphemus, the Laestrygonians, Circe, Tiresias in the Underworld, the Sirens, Helios's cattle, Calypso, the Phaeacians, Eumaeus, and the palace. Choices change your crew, supplies, wits, relationships, and the gods' help or anger. Earlier trust, prophecy, and special items can unlock new actions and special endings. Experience famous episodes and characters from Odysseus's sea voyage by making choices instead of reading a long guide. How will your voyage end? • A choice-driven story, about 25–35 minutes per voyage • Ten acts and 16 distinct endings, each with its own illustration • Twenty-four decision scenes and 56 illustrated choice results • Original puppet-theater artwork in which the gods literally pull the strings • See an illustrated result and exact changes after each choice • Eight special actions unlocked by earlier choices and accumulated state • A full-epic timeline marking “This game's stage,” plus relationship and spoiler-folded character cards • Automatic local saving after every choice • No account required; the main story works without an internet connection • Original Korean writing based on episodes from Homer's Odyssey, with a source note for every scene A full-screen ad may appear only from the separate interlude screens after Acts 2, 4, 6, and 8. Ads are at least 90 seconds apart. There are no ads covering choices, app-open ads, post-failure ads, in-app purchases, or paid content. This is not an official game of any film and uses no movie scenes, dialogue, or artwork. It is an independent game with original writing and art inspired by Homer's ancient epic.
