A creature needs to be made. The professor wants one that flies and swims, but doesn't quack. He's not joking. You're in a lab. Animals sit on the shelves — a lion, an eagle, a duck, a penguin, a tardigrade somewhere in the back. You pick two, breed them, and see what you get. The hybrid inherits traits from both parents, but only by the rules of actual genetics. Dominant traits always pass when one parent has them. Recessive traits pass only if both parents have them. Some come through weakened. Each level is a different request from the professor. Some are easy — roars and runs fast, here, take a lion. Some take four or five rounds of breeding to fix. You got the flying part right but now your creature also quacks and is afraid of foxes, so you breed it with something that drowns out both. Half the time you sit there wondering what to mix next. Then it clicks and the right combination falls out. The smarter you play, the more stars you earn. Three stars means fewest breedings, no undo, and a final creature with only the traits the professor asked for and nothing else. Two means close enough. One means it works. Every hybrid you create stays in your collection with a stitched-up name. Lion plus Zebra becomes Libra. Eagle plus Penguin becomes EaglePenguin. Keep going and you'll end up with four-parent monsters whose names look like keyboard mashing. 100 levels across five chapters. 52 base species — savanna animals at first, then water and air, then forest at night, then the extreme stuff (mantis shrimp, immortal jellyfish, the cassowary which is basically a velociraptor), and finally a Chaos Lab where every species is unlocked. There's also a Free Lab with no goals. Just pick animals, mash them together, find out what happens. It saves everything you make. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. Just genetics and a professor who really wants a swimming eagle.
