Store description excerpt

Your elderly parent lives alone, and you can't be there all the time. ODANIA places a few discreet sensors in their home and tells you if they're doing well—no cameras, no wearing required. Living at home shouldn't come at the cost of worry. Every morning, the same question arises: Are they up? Have they eaten? Should I call again? ODANIA answers these questions for you. WHAT YOU SEE • A clear status: all is well, or something needs your attention • The latest sign of activity, room by room • Nothing else. No daily log, no anxiety-inducing dashboard WHEN WE ALERT YOU • No waking up late • Leaving home in the middle of the night • Unusual stillness in a room • An offline sensor or device, so you never mistakenly believe everything is fine A notification arrives on your phone, along with a text message if the situation is serious. The rest of the time, the app remains silent. Silence is good news. WHAT ODANIA WILL NEVER DO • No camera, no images • No microphone, no sound • Nothing to wear: no bracelet, no pendant, no watch • No data resale. European servers, GDPR compliant. WHY SENSORS RATHER THAN A CAMERA Seniors overwhelmingly reject cameras and emergency bracelets, often with good reason: one films their privacy, the other constantly reminds them that they are perceived as frail. Motion and door/window sensors, attached to the wall like smoke detectors, provide only one piece of information: there was activity in this room at this time. Nothing more. INSTALLATION Six sensors attached with double-sided tape in the living areas, a small box connected to the internet router. Thirty minutes, no tools, no drilling. The equipment is loaned and remains our property for the duration of the subscription. CONSENT FROM BOTH PARTIES Both the caregiver and the senior give their consent at the time of installation. The senior can withdraw their consent at any time. ODANIA is not a medical device and does not replace emergency services or human intervention. The service monitors daily routines and notifies the family. No system can guarantee the detection of all events. Belgian pilot program 2026. The application requires a household code provided during installation.
