Obi brings the quiet luxury of a kimono sash to your Wear OS smartwatch. 🎀 THE SASH An obi is the wide woven sash that finishes a kimono. This face is built from one: silk drawn across the dial, a cream obi-age band laid straight through the middle, a braided obijime cord, and a flat decorative knot tied at the very centre. The knot is where the hands turn. 🎨 FIVE SILKS Indigo, Sakura, Wisteria, Celadon and Crimson — the same obi rewoven each time, each with its own embroidery: a gold asanoha lattice, cherry branches, hanging wisteria, a white peony, plum sprigs and folding fans. 🕰 GOLD OR SILVER HANDS Slim machined batons with a fine dark keyline so they stay crisp on the silk, in two finishes: warm gold or cool silver. The second hand sweeps smoothly rather than ticking. ⌚ ANALOG OR DIGITAL One face, two watches. Switch on Digital Time for large hours and minutes above the band, following your watch's own 12-hour or 24-hour setting. The digits pick their ink automatically to match the silk, or fix them to champagne, ink or vermilion yourself. ◻ TWO OBIDOME MEDALLIONS An obidome is the small ornament worn on the sash cord. Steps and battery sit in two round medallions of the band's own cream weave, edged in sumi ink, one to each side of the knot — and each medallion grows or shrinks with the size you choose, large, medium or small. Pick the ink from five deep Japanese colours — Ink, Crimson, Indigo, Moss and Umber — assign heart rate, weather, date, a shortcut or anything else your watch provides, or switch them off and the medallions vanish with them, leaving nothing but silk. 🌙 AMBIENT MODE The silk gives way to black and only the gold markers and hands stay lit, so the time is readable at a glance while the display draws almost nothing. ⚙ SETTINGS Long-press the watch face and tap Customise, or use the watch face editor on your phone, to choose the silk, the hand finish, digital time and its ink, and the two readings, their size and their colour. 🌸 ABOUT WABIFACE WabiFace is a collection of watch faces celebrating Japanese aesthetics — wabi-sabi, mono no aware, and the dignified passage of time.
