Eligible Criteria: Farmers having minimum 2.5 acres and maximum up to 10 acres of land. If a farmer does not have at least 2.5 acres of contiguous land, then a group of farmers having a contiguous land of minimum 2.5 acres together shall be considered. One bore well per one family. Farmers without an existing bore well / Tube well. Farmers having an abandoned bore well/tube well in his land. Farmers having RoFR lands in tribal areas. Small and marginal farmers are eligible for energization and installation of pump sets at free of cost. Lands covered under Submergence areas and Lanka lands are NOT eligible. The over exploited revenue villages notified by the Govt. are NOT eligible for drilling of bore wells. Steps involved in Drilling of Borewells : Farmers can apply for free bore well through online or offline through village secretariat Verification of application for eligibility by Village Revenue Officer Eligible applications sent to Assistant Project Director, District Water Management Agency by Village Revenue Officer Assistant Project Director, District Water Management Agency will forward applications to the drilling agencies for conducting Ground water survey Drilling agency will conduct Ground water survey and sent to Assistant Project Director, District Water Management Agency The Assistant Project Director, District Water Management Agency will generate estimate and send for admin sanction to Project Director, District Water Management Agency The Project Director, District Water Management Agency will get admin sanction from District Collector Drilling agency will start drilling for admin sanctioned proposals After drilling, recording measurement, check measurement & super check by Technical Assistant, Engineering Consultant / Junior Engineer, Assistant Project Director and Additional Project Director respectively Bills submitted through Comprehensive Financial Management System, Pay and Accounts Office work module for payment
