Noteweave keeps the words worth keeping. You are watching something and a line lands. Until now the only way to keep it was a screenshot you would never open again. Noteweave reads the captions off the screen while you watch and saves them as text you can search, edit and file. When a video has no captions, record instead. Noteweave listens either to the room around you or to what your iPhone is playing, and turns what was said into a note. It also reads the screenshots you already have. Point it at the ones sitting in your photo library and it lifts the text out, so the pictures no longer have to stay. YOUR NOTES, YOUR DEVICE Recognition and transcription both run on the device. Nothing is sent to us and there is no server of ours anywhere in the app. If you are signed in to iCloud your notes sync through your own private iCloud database, which only you can read. Recordings are deleted once they have become text. WHAT IT DOES • Reads captions from a video while you watch and saves them as a note • Records speech and transcribes it, from the microphone or from the device itself • Pulls the text out of screenshots you have already saved • Organises notes into folders you arrange yourself • Searches everything you have kept • Keeps deleted notes for thirty days before removing them • Reads English and Chinese, in both Simplified and Traditional MADE FOR KEEPING, NOT COLLECTING Noteweave has no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. It does one thing: it makes the sentence you just heard yours to keep. Speech transcription in Chinese requires iOS 26. English transcription works on any supported device.
