Store description excerpt

Note au passage is a musical arcade game. You play a chord (C major, for instance) and the notes come scrolling in from the right. Stay on the ground to eat the notes that belong to your chord, and jump over the foreign notes to avoid them. Every good note eaten and every wrong note avoided earns you a point. The chord you embody changes as the game goes on and the tempo speeds up: you have to recognise quickly which notes make up each major or minor chord. Show the names in French notation (Do Re Mi), English notation (C D E), or directly on the stave to practise reading notes. A game lasts 5 minutes and is converted into a mark out of 10. Built for learning: recognising the notes of a chord, reading the stave and training your ear while having fun. Ideal in class as well as at home. For teachers: an assessment mode is built in. The student enters a nickname and a 3-letter class code that you give them; at the end of the game their mark out of 10 is sent automatically and grouped with the rest of the class. This mode is entirely free, with no sign-up and no account to create. A completely free app: no in-app purchases, no subscription, no advertising. Part of the Lusique family of music games. Ideal for learning music theory and aural training, at conservatoire as well as at music school.
