A little piece of today. One tap, and it becomes the old days. NOSS is a nostalgic journal that records just one second a day. It doesn't have to be well shot. It doesn't have to be long. Press the shutter and exactly one second is saved — short enough that your finger moves before you think. Once twelve pieces have gathered, they join together on their own into a single 12-second film, slightly faded, with grain, a date and quiet music. There is no editing screen. All you do is shoot. HOW IT WORKS 1. One second, twelve times Press the shutter and exactly one second is recorded. Twelve little pieces of today — whenever you feel like it, a bit at a time. 2. Choose a mood Faded warm tones, 8mm, a soft diary. Pick one world, and the color, the grain and the music are decided together. 3. Keep it as it is Right down to the end card with the date and the place, everything is automatic. Export it, save it, send it to someone. MOODS • Nostalgia — faded memories • 8mm — the texture of 8mm film • Diary — a soft diary • Summer — a faded summer • Old Film — old found footage IN THE DETAILS • Film grain — a faint run of grain, clouding the digital cleanliness just a little • Vignette — the edges fall away softly, drawing your eye to the middle • Date & place — the end card carries the day you filmed and the name of the land, on a small hand-drawn map • Chill / lo-fi music — it never insists; it lets time drift behind the picture • A blink of black between clips, like the frame change of a film reel YOUR FOOTAGE STAYS WITH YOU Your videos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. Location is optional: if you allow it, the end card can show the place name and a small map of where you filmed. Coordinates may be sent to Google (to look up the place name) and to OpenStreetMap Nominatim (for map data) — and nothing else leaves your phone.
