NORTHERN CAPITAL ENERGY is a turn-based power grid simulator set in Saint Petersburg. Balance generation from 10 real power plants, maintain 20+ substations, and keep critical consumers — metro, hospitals, railways, water utilities — online no matter what. MANAGE REAL POWER STATIONS Leningrad NPP, Volkhovskaya HPP, Narvskaya HPP, and seven thermal plants. Each has its quirks: Volkhov swings with the seasons. Narva can be cut off by a diplomatic incident. Central CHP (built in 1897) wears down fast. A LIVING SAINT PETERSBURG Play on a hand-drawn map with the Neva river, drawbridges that open every night, ships sailing past the Hermitage, planes heading to Pulkovo, aurora over Lake Ladoga. Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty, St. Isaac’s Cathedral — all where they belong. NAVIGATE IMPOSSIBLE TURNS Winter storms damage substations. Floods take Vasilyevsky offline for two turns.
