Noise Meter is a sound level tool for everyday noise checks. Open the app to estimate A-weighted decibels around you, and follow live, maximum, minimum, and average levels plus a trend so you can tell whether home, work, travel, or a job site is getting too loud. LIVE NOISE MEASUREMENT Tap start to measure. While you measure, you can see the current level, maximum, minimum, and average (Leq), with a waveform that follows the sound. Common scenes such as a whisper, an office, a road, or a subway help put the number in context. You can also save a location so each record matches the place you were standing. DECIBEL CAMERA WITH ACOUSTIC WATERMARKS When you need a picture of the scene, use Decibel Camera to take photos or record video. The image can overlay live decibels and summary stats, which is useful for neighbor noise, construction, or before-and-after insulation checks. After capture, you can review average, maximum, and minimum levels. RECORDS, TRENDS, AND MAP Each valid session becomes a record with duration, place, max/min/average, and a dB trend. Browse a list or switch to the map to compare readings across locations. Rename records such as “bedroom at night,” “living room renovation,” or “desk at work.” CALIBRATION AND LEVEL GUIDE Phone microphones differ. Device calibration in Settings helps bring readings closer to a reference you trust. A built-in level guide ranges from breathing and a library to traffic, subway, and thunder, grouped into comfortable, noisy, and protection-needed ranges. NOISE STANDARDS FOR REFERENCE Look up publicly available noise-related limits for China, Japan, Korea, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In-app values are for reference only and never claim that a reading is unlawful. A phone measurement is not a substitute for a report from a qualified lab.
