NitrogenApp2025 is a mobile application designed to help farmers, researchers and students estimate the nitrogen fertiliser requirements of wheat, rice and maize using simple leaf or canopy images. Developed under the Punjab Agricultural Research Board (PARB) Project 21-140 at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, the app applies image analysis techniques to assess leaf greenness and provide evidence-based nitrogen recommendations. It is a practical, research-based tool to support efficient fertiliser use and more sustainable crop management.
