Store description excerpt
News is grouped by Age, so young readers can see suitable topics. Allows you to hear articles, specify interests and choose locale. The problem this solves is that there is no way to get News that is appropriate for an age group. Lets say if you are a 10 year old, there is no easy way to get news that is appropriate for that age group. So this app tailors the News content and experience to be relevant for an age group (eg. a solar eclipse news is relevant for a 10year old, but a legal court case is not). Unique Value prop: 1. Age-based content curation. You enter an age once, and the app natively gates which topic categories are shown (Kids see science/sports/animals/space; teens add world/tech/environment; adults get full coverage). This is real parental-safety logic built into the app — a browser shows everyone everything. 2. On-device personalized recommendations. A "Suggested for you" engine learns from your reading history (categories + keywords, with recency weighting) and ranks cross-category stories for you — computed entirely on-device and privately. No website does this for you across multiple publishers. 3. Read-aloud with selectable natural voices (accessibility). Native text-to-speech reads articles aloud, automatically matches the voice to the article's language, and lets you choose and preview Enhanced/Premium voices. This is a genuine accessibility feature, not web browsing. 4. 46-language experience with a fully localized interface. The app UI itself (Settings, labels, etc.) localizes to the chosen language, including right-to-left layout for Arabic/Persian/Urdu/Pashto. 5. "News about any country, in your language." A native feature that lets you pick any of ~70 countries and read that country's news in your own language, with country names localized on-device via the system locale. This is original functionality layered on top of the sources. 7. Native aggregation & transformation. The app de-duplicates stories across sources, sorts by recency, cleans and normalizes headlines, extracts source attribution, and presents everything in one consistent native UI with topic tabs — not a list of raw links. 8. Works offline. Feeds are cached on-device so the app opens instantly and keeps working with no connection — impossible in a browser tab. On-device saving, search, and privacy. Native bookmarking, multi-source search, and a privacy model where all preferences/history stay on the device with no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. 9. Native app behaviors. Universal iPhone/iPad app, adaptive layout, portrait + landscape, pull-to-refresh — standard native UX throughout. 10. A daily streak counter, which encourages you to read everyday
