This is the United Kingdom (Anglicized) Audio Bible Version (known as NIVUK). Through a simple and intuitive user interface, listen and read the different books of the scriptures. This app uses Google technology known as text to speech (TTS) which, in this case, reads the scriptures in real-time. This leads to lower consumption of memory space on the mobile device. This App does not require an Internet connection, so you can enjoy the scripts without having an active connection. Features: - Simple and intuitive interface - Speech verse numbers (on/off) - Activation or deactivation of the speech engine (only text) - Configuration of different voice accents (by selecting the Google TTS engine) - Automatically stops on incoming calls, and resumes after the call ends - Automatically stops on unplugged headsets - Keeps running in the background - Share versicles (long tapping over a versicle) - Small footprint, code optimized (just needs around 3MB) Concerning the automatic stop on incoming calls and automatic resume, a privacy policy is required for this functionality, promptly it only reads the status of the mobile device, READ_PHONE_STATE.
