You check into your hotel. You enter the room and a touch panel, placed on the wall, welcomes you with a message. By touching the relevant buttons, you regulate the room temperature and adapt lighting conditions to your requirements. As the sun is shining outside, you also close the blinds a bit by moving the slider. If designated by the hotel, you can also use your smartphone. You receive a code at the reception to activate your smartphone. This is only one possible scenario that can be realized with the NETx Touch App. To say it in detail, the app was developed to offer a comfortable visualization and control of building automation systems on mobile devices. All functions you would like to control are displayed on the output device and herewith allow a fast access to the building. NETx Touch acts as a visualization client of the NETx BMS Server. In other words, the NETx BMS Server collects various data points of building automation systems and processes them if necessary. To enable you to realize different projects, data points of common standards and protocols like KNX, Modbus, BACnet, OPC, MICROS Fidelio/Opera, Protel and JSON can be integrated by the NETx BMS Server. With the NETx Touch app, numberless control elements like buttons, images and sliders are at your disposition. Further features are: - Extended control elements (e.g. server calendar) - User and layer management - Automatically scaling - Configurable zooming functions - Automatic client discovery Also, main/backup solutions can be carried out easily with NETx Touch. Once integrated, the visualization switches automatically to the backup server if the main server is unreachable.
