NetGMT is a small set of network and security engineering tools and references built specifically for Apple Watch. NetGMT primarily started as a fast way to translate to/from UTC, with the correct date, while trying to review log timestamps at 3am. It's easy to just memorize an offset, but when you're tired, and you're crossing from one day to the next, and on calls with people speaking in their local time zone, it becomes far more error prone and can be the difference between hours of troubleshooting and getting straight to the problem. THE DIAL: A 24-hour dial reads UTC and local time together. Scrub back through time with the crown, tap the clock for every format a log reader needs — UTC, local, offset, ISO-8601, Unix epoch — and double-tap to snap back to now. Five Dial Themes: GMT Dial, Retrowave, Terminal Green, Terminal Blue, and Flap Clock. THE REFERENCES - CIDR block information, /0 to /32 - Subnet calculator with address classification (Private, CGNAT, APIPA, etc) - Common TCP and UDP ports - Nmap command quick reference - Cable pinouts with wire colors: straight-through, crossover, rollover - Reference Pages for: - Ethernet: Optics, PoE, VLAN, STP - Routing: OSPF, BGP, IS-IS - DHCPv4: Process, Options) - DNS: Record Types A complication shows the network prefix your watch is on, and whether it's on WiFi or LTE Everything lives on the watch and works fully offline.
