Store description excerpt
Find every device on your Wi-Fi. Spot the ones that shouldn't be there. NetReveal scans your local network and Bluetooth and tells you exactly what's connected — by name, by vendor, by what it does. Cameras, printers, smart speakers, routers, computers, light bulbs, the AC unit, the neighbor's old Chromecast you forgot about. If something looks like a hidden camera or microphone, you see a red banner on the home screen before anything else. Built for the moment you walk into an Airbnb and wonder. Built for parents who want to know what's broadcasting in the kid's room. Built for anyone who's tired of mystery devices on their router page. WHAT IT FINDS - IP cameras (RTSP, ONVIF, Hikvision, Dahua, Reolink, Wyze, Arlo, Ring) - Likely hidden cameras and mics on suspicious ports (RTSP 554, Dahua 37777, XMeye 34567) - Printers (HP, Canon, Brother, Epson, Lexmark) - Smart speakers and streamers (HomePod, Echo, Sonos, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku) - Smart home (HomeKit, Matter, smart plugs, smart bulbs, AC units) - Routers, gateways, mesh nodes - NAS and file shares (Synology, QNAP, SMB, AFP) - Computers, phones, tablets, watches, AirPods - Bluetooth Low Energy devices nearby Every result comes with a confidence level — high, medium, low, or suspicious — so you know when to trust the label and when to dig deeper. Tap any device to see its IP, MAC, vendor, open ports, mDNS services, and BLE signal. PRIVACY FIRST NetReveal runs entirely on your iPhone. There is no account to create. There is no server we control. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, no third-party tracker. Scan results live in memory and disappear when you close the app. The only network traffic is the one you can see on your own router — your phone talking to your network, nothing else. If that sounds boring, it's the point. HOW IT WORKS Three discovery layers run in parallel during a scan: 1. mDNS / Bonjour browse across 19 service types — the protocol Apple and HomeKit already use to find devices on your network. 2. TCP probes across the local /24 subnet on 18 camera-flavored ports — the same ports security cameras advertise themselves on. 3. Bluetooth Low Energy passive scan — anything broadcasting in your immediate range. A built-in OUI database with around 200 IEEE vendor prefixes turns raw MAC addresses into recognizable brands. An 18-rule classifier combines mDNS services, vendor, hostname, and port signals to label what you're looking at. A scan of a typical home network takes around 6 to 10 seconds. DISCLAIMER NetReveal is a detection tool, not a guarantee. A clean scan means nothing obviously suspicious was found on the network and in Bluetooth range at that moment. Determined surveillance gear can be cellular-only, hardwired, offline, or physically hidden in ways no app can see. If you have a serious concern, combine this with a physical sweep and, when relevant, a professional check. Privacy: https://legal.ingenieria.dev/netreveal/privacy-policy.
