FOR CHILDCARE PROVIDERS AND EDUCATORS • Create digital daily sheets for meals, naps, diapers, activities, moods, learning moments, medication, incidents, notes, and photos • Record an update for multiple children at once • Check children in and out, mark absences, and review attendance history • Keep child profiles, schedules, allergies, medical notes, and emergency contacts close at hand • Organize children by room and invite staff with role-based access • Send direct messages and program-wide announcements • Plan weekly lessons across eight learning domains • Publish menus and share calendar events, closures, holidays, reminders, and field trips • Create invoices, apply tax, record cash, e-transfer, or cheque payments, and offer card checkout when enabled by the provider • Manage prospective families from waitlist to enrollment FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS • Follow your child's day through a private, real-time feed • See arrival, pickup, meal, nap, activity, learning, and photo updates shared by the childcare team • Message educators in one organized conversation • View published menus, lesson plans, and upcoming calendar events • Review invoices and payment status, and pay eligible invoices by card • Receive timely notifications for important updates BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND Children do not create accounts. Families join through an invitation from their childcare provider, and access is limited by role and relationship. Photos are stored privately, data is encrypted in transit, and account deletion is available in the app. Nestlings is designed for Canadian day homes, daycare centres, and childcare agencies. Provider features may vary based on program settings. Parents use Nestlings at no cost. A participating childcare provider and invitation may be required for parent access.
