Store description excerpt

Nest Drop is a puzzle game about aiming a hole and sizing it exactly right to catch the birds you need. Every board is filled with birds, and among them sit holes with numbers on them. Pick up a hole and drag it, and it stretches out into a rectangle. When that rectangle covers exactly as many squares as the number it carries, you can let go. The hole opens in that shape and everything inside it falls through. The birds that fall count toward the goals shown at the top of the screen. Fill every goal before your moves run out and the level is complete. HOW TO PLAY - Touch a numbered hole and drag to stretch a rectangle - The rectangle must cover exactly the number written on it - Release to open it — every bird and object inside falls through - The hole counts as part of its own number, so a hole marked 8 collects 7 birds - The rectangle can grow in any direction, but it cannot cross another hole or leave the board - The shape is up to you: 8 can be 2x4, 4x2 or 1x8 While you drag, a preview shows the area you have marked along with a counter, so you always know how close you are. Letting go on an incomplete area simply cancels the move and costs you nothing. Once a hole opens, the pieces above fall down to fill the gap and new ones arrive from the top. The board is never empty. Nest Drop is played in portrait and can be played with one hand. There are no timers, so you can take as long as you like on every move. Hundreds of levels, each one built to be solved.
