Pick a dark-sky location, shoot date, camera body, and lens — then choose a target like the Milky Way core, Orion Nebula, Andromeda, or a custom point in the sky. The Frame tab shows a live viewfinder preview with horizontal and vertical field of view from your gear. Dial camera azimuth and altitude, or tap Align to Target, and see whether your subject sits inside the lens with coverage percentage. A built-in 500-rule calculator suggests max exposure time for sharp stars. Sky charts altitude arcs and compass positions over twelve hours, with clickable best viewing windows. Targets includes eight deep-sky objects with shooting tips and seasons. Gear catalogs popular camera bodies and lenses. Plans saves shoot setups for one-tap reload in the field. Learn offers field guides on exposure, composition, and light pollution. Built for iOS 16 and later with a colorful dark-sky interface. Locations include famous sites with Bortle ratings so you know when light pollution limits your shot.
